BORATHOR Powder contains the natural and highly effective active ingredient disodium octa borate tetrahydrate
(DOT). DOT is a totally water soluble form of borate. Mixed with water and applied to wood surfaces, It is a potent insecticide / fungicide, effective against a wide spectrum of insect and fungi pests. It is widely used to protect the wood in new and existing structures against attack from wood destroying invaders such as wood boring, beetles, dry wood termites and wood decay fungi. It is an economical, all around value leader when it comes to protecting wood components against decay and damage. Because DOT is mineral derived, it should remain effective as long as the treated wood is in service.
